Food & wine tasting event night at our Melville display

Steadman Homes is excited to be hosting a free food and wine tasting event this Thursday night 4-7pm in our Melville ‘Merlot’ display home. The home is only open for a limited time and we have partnered with some amazing local family businesses to showcase the home at this twilight viewing. Join us to view this amazing home at your leisure in this relaxed setting.

The ‘Merlot’ home design is an entertainer’s dream with a huge kitchen complete with window backsplash and loads of storage. The large island bench with giant under-mount sink, overlooks the open plan living and dining room, to keep the cook part of the par
ty. There are 2 sliding doors to the full width alfresco, ensuring you make the most of a narrow lot and giving the home a sense of wide open space. Upstairs holds another large family room opening to a balcony to take in the views or use as a parents or teenagers retreat when downstairs gets busy!

Elli from Shak Shuka Moroccan will be serving tasty treats at this special Thursday evening event. Elli has been enjoying cooking his mum’s authentic Moroccan recipes since childhood and in 2012 opened his Shak Shuka catering business to bring her wonderful food to more people. Shak Shuka provides catering for Weddings, Corporate Events and local events. They have recently opened a semi-permanent location in Bassendean serving their delicious food from a vintage Airstream Food Van. Plans have also begun for Shak Shuka to be involved in the growing and lucrative Home Delivery service Menu log! Soon you will be able to get your Shak on at home whenever you like. Shak Shuka’s simple philosophy is to work alongside local producers to highlight regional ingredients which make Shak Shukas Moroccan cuisine all the more in demand.

Brash Vineyard will be serving up wine tastings on the night. Brash is situated in the wine appellation of Margaret River, in the sub-region of the Yallingup Hills. It has 18 hectares of vines situated amongst towering jarrah and marri trees, which provide wonderful amphitheatres for growing vines, protecting the grapes from the elements of weather. Grapes grown are Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, Malbec, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. The vines were first planted in 2000 and years of subtle adjustment now sees the vineyard growing each of our varieties on the site best suited to that grape type.

Miss Tartufo will alsoGelati and sorbet to round out our tasting extravaganza! Miss Tartufo shares her delicious flavours of Gelati and Sorbet throughout Perth in her Caravan of Gelati Love. Locally produced, Miss Tartufo is available for all types of functions, events and festivals.
